About the Event
Daniel is a naturalist, horticulturist and Owner of Naturescapes of Beaufort. Additionally, Daniel is a botanist and the expert on the flora native to Beaufort County. Join Daniel as he guides us on a tour in his nursery of native and heirloom plants from wild populations in Coastal South Carolina and Georgia. We'll finish the day by making native plant 'pollinator pots' to take home and enjoy. Daniel will focus on the reasons to plant and encourage native plant populations for wildlife habitats, landscaping and beauty.
Please bring bug spray, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water and snacks.
